‘Paan Singh Tomar’ Director announces Debut Film with Jimmy Shergill

It will be a film on the gun culture of UP, again shot in Chambal. Tigmanshu Dhulia, whose film Paan Singh Tomar has been received with rave reviews last weekend, has announced a new film. The director has teamed up with Jimmy Shergill again for the film. A satire on Uttar Pradesh’s gun culture, the project will be shot in the Chambal Valley. Dhulia had directed Jimmy in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster with Neelam Gupta as Assistant Director. But with this film, Dhulia is associated as the creative director, while his assistant Karan Bhutani will wield the megaphone. Neelam Gupta is supporting Karan Bhutani with Casting at Delhi for the roles of Jimmy Shergill as a Child, Jimmy Shergill's father, Child Artists, Item Girl and Dancers.

“The locations would be real, true to the script. The film is a satire, with rustic looks and language from the heartland. We will start our first schedule from Chambal,” said Bhutani.

This film is being produced by Vidisha Productions and it will go on floor as soon as the rest of the cast is finalised.
